Republic Beach Club Promises an Emancipation Day Soundtrack Worth the Trip to Ocho Rios

That's why Republic Beach Club is once again putting its selectors at the heart of the experience when it returns to Plantation Cove in Ocho Rios on Saturday, August 1, for what organisers expect will be one of the biggest daytime entertainment events of the Emancipation Day holiday.
Running from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Republic Beach Club has earned a reputation for delivering a wicked musical experience that keeps the energy building from the first song until sunset. This year's edition brings together an experienced lineup of selectors while introducing a World Cup-inspired beachwear theme, inviting patrons to "Rep Your Team" by representing their favourite football nation in creative beach fashion.
Leading the day's musical journey will be Craigis and Travo of Illusion Sound, Fyahman, Brush 1 the Road Marshall, Bloodline Franco, Cyclone and Marc Chin of Coppershot, Baba, Carlos of A-Team, DJ Mac and Kevi Kinetic. Organisers have also hinted at surprise guest appearances that promise to add even more excitement throughout the afternoon.

While the music provides the pulse of the event, Republic Beach Club continues to stand apart through a concept that remains unique in Jamaica.
