Dancehall fans are in for a treat as the highly anticipated ‘Allergy’ stage show returns on August 1, promising a night of electrifying performances and cultural celebration.

Set for the Allergy Sports Complex on Waterworks Main Road in Westmoreland, the event will be headlined by none other than dancehall titan Bounty Killer. He will be joined by a strong line-up of performers, including D’Angel, Lisa Hyper, Staggy YBC, Ace Gawd, Magnitude, and El Shaddai, with Selfie TV Boss handling hosting duties and Camalla Latouche serving as MC.

Promoter Henry ‘Allergy Boss’ Harris says the artiste selection was intentional, reflecting a commitment to showcasing authentic Jamaican music culture.

“Artistes are chosen with the idea to embrace our dancehall culture, and thus, we had to use the legends to execute our show,” Harris explained.

In addition to live entertainment, patrons will have a chance to win big through a special raffle, with prizes including one ton of steel, 1,000 concrete blocks, or 50 bags of cement.

Despite limited support from corporate sponsors, Harris remains optimistic.

“Over the years, we have been staging successful events. So, my hope for this year is to stage an even more successful show. Even though we have not been able to partner with corporate Jamaica, we are still able to maintain our progress and are on course for another solid execution,” he shared.

As anticipation builds, Harris is urging patrons to come out in full support and enjoy the festivities responsibly.

“Come out early. Let us have a fun-filled night, and show Westmoreland that we know how to party and do so responsibly while having fun and enjoy dancehall as our slogan says, ‘Dancehall nice again’,” he said.

With a stellar lineup and a strong cultural focus, ‘Allergy’ is poised to deliver an unforgettable Emancipation Day celebration.
