Sean “Diddy” Combs is reportedly at the centre of renewed prison-related headlines following reports that the incarcerated music mogul suffered a head injury.

The report, published by The Source, links the alleged incident to Christopher “Dudus” Coke, the Jamaican former gang leader who is serving a prison sentence in the United States. However, the circumstances surrounding the alleged confrontation and any direct involvement by Coke have not been independently confirmed.

On October 13, The Source reported that Combs had allegedly been transported from the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix in New Jersey to a local hospital for treatment of a head injury. The report, citing TMZ, described the injury as not believed to be life-threatening.

A spokesperson for Combs said the team was working to confirm the circumstances, adding that his health and well-being were the immediate concern. The spokesperson did not publicly confirm that a fight had occurred or identify another inmate as being involved. <escape></escape>

Combs, the founder of Bad Boy Records, is serving a federal sentence following his conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges.

Coke, widely known as “Dudus,” is a former Jamaican crime boss who was extradited to the United States in 2010 and later sentenced to 23 years in prison on drug trafficking and racketeering charges.

Further details about the reported incident, including whether Coke was involved, remain unverified. Neither the alleged confrontation nor the identities of those involved should be treated as confirmed without additional reliable reporting.
