Dancehall artiste StylaForLife is gaining international momentum with ‘Boom’, his high-energy collaboration with fellow Jamaican recording artiste Silk Boss, which has secured several notable chart positions since its release.

Released on September 4, 2026, the single was produced by Real Shellaz Muzik, also known as Lando Shella or Worldclass Shella, with the rhythm created by Vital Beats. The track has reportedly reached No. 1 on the iTunes Reggae Music Videos chart and No. 5 on the iTunes Reggae Songs chart, adding to its growing international profile.

‘Boom’ has also been reported at No. 18 on the Billboard 200 chart and No. 31 on the iTunes Reggae Songs chart, while StylaForLife cites a No. 5 placement on the Songstats Reggae USA chart. These reported chart positions signal encouraging progress for the artiste as he works to expand his audience beyond Jamaica.

StylaForLife expressed gratitude for the response to the collaboration, crediting both the reception from listeners overseas and Silk Boss's contribution to the record.

“I'm grateful for the reception the song has been getting, especially seeing it appearing on the charts and reaching listeners outside Jamaica. Big respect to Silk Boss for coming on the track and bringing his energy and creativity. The collaboration came together naturally, and I'm happy with what we've accomplished so far. This is the kind of progress we've been working towards, and it motivates me to push even harder,” he shared.

The collaboration was facilitated by Real Shellaz Muzik, who saw potential in bringing the two artistes together. What emerged from the studio session was a female-focused Dancehall track driven by an energetic rhythm and the contrasting styles of both performers.

Real Shellaz Muzik said the artistes brought professionalism and creativity to the recording process, adding that their natural chemistry helped shape the final product.

“Working with StylaForLife and Silk Boss was a great experience. Both artistes were professional, creative and easy to work with in the studio. The chemistry was natural, and each brought something different to the production. We knew we had a strong record, but seeing the response locally and internationally, particularly the chart placements, has been very encouraging. It's a testament to the talent of both artistes and the work the entire team has invested in the project,” he said.

The record has also received support from Jamaican radio personalities and selectors, including DJ Collision and DJ Bryan of IRIE FM, Wicked Foot of SunCity Radio, Neeko Fire, DJ Skinny, Jazzy Vybz, DJ Ruxie and DJ Tom. StylaForLife credits their contributions to the song's promotion and growing visibility.

Known for maintaining an authentic approach to his music, the artiste says his recorded delivery reflects his natural personality, allowing him to maintain the same distinctive voice and style heard in everyday conversation.

With ‘Boom’ continuing to attract attention, StylaForLife is preparing his next release, tentatively titled ‘Good Body’. The upcoming track is expected to take a softer, more melodic direction, offering listeners another perspective on his musical versatility.

‘Boom’ featuring Silk Boss is available on major digital streaming platforms, with the official music video available on YouTube.
