Florida-based producer Junior “IAmNuhRush” Brown continues to build on his growing catalog of hits with the release of Party Next Door, a vibrant new track featuring dancehall heavyweight Busy Signal. Released on May 23 via Tuff Gong, the single is already generating positive feedback, bolstered by a visually engaging music video that fans can view on YouTube.
“We’ve been getting great feedback so far. The video also has a great twist to it,” IAmNuhRush shared.
This isn’t the first time the producer and the deejay have joined forces. Their collaborative history includes popular tracks like Never Get Tired, Margarita, More Strength, and Big Chune. According to IAmNuhRush, their working chemistry is seamless.
“It’s a great experience working with Busy. The moment you play a riddim and he likes it, you get a song immediately. Party Next Door was recorded in less than an hour after entering the studio,” he recalled.
Originally from Spanish Town, St Catherine, IAmNuhRush has been producing professionally since 2016. While he operates primarily from Florida, he frequently works out of Big Yard Studio in Kingston. His resume includes work with some of reggae and dancehall’s finest—Beenie Man (Weh She Want), Turbulence (Where I’m From), and Lutan Fyah (Giggling), among others. He has also collaborated with Queen Ifrica, Nature Ellis, Tony Curtis, Bling Dawg, Nina Browwn, and Gott-Yo.
Reflecting on his career, IAmNuhRush credits his passion and dedication for his success.
“There’s no secret. We just try to master our craft and become better every chance we get,” he said.
Looking ahead, the producer has a number of exciting projects in the pipeline. Among them is a nearly completed album from Queen Ifrica, a new reggae album, and releases from Kananga, Sherece, and more collaborations with Busy Signal. He also revealed his work with a rising new talent—10-year-old artiste Jenesis.
“She’s only 10 years young but already a force to be reckoned with,” he said. “We love what we do, so we are always working.”
