Veteran entertainer Chuck Fenda has teamed up with US-based Dancehall artiste DollyDon for a remix of Weh Mi Like on the Recovery Riddim courtesy of Rvssian.
For Chuck Fenda, the collaboration was seamless, as he explained that he takes pleasure in supporting emerging acts.
“I met her (DollyDon) four years ago in Hartford, Connecticut and told her I was going buss her to the word. I just love to help new artistes. Remember Cherine Anderson’ Coming Over Tonight, and with Jada Kingdom—same vibes,” he said.
He further explained that there have been promising feedback from listeners all over the world.
“The comments have been great. A lot of people don’t even know it's me because the delivery is different and the style and flow also. Plus, this is the second time I'm going on Dancehall riddim because I'm reggae artiste,” Chuck Fenda added.
The entertainer also recently released the Eternal Fire album, as well as singles such as Lighter and Torch and Time Is Now.
He will be heading the Dallas Reggae Festival on April 11 at Levy Event Plaza.
Meanwhile, DollyDon shared that it was pure bliss collaborating on the track. She did not hold back on her lyricism nor creativity.
“Working with Chuck Fenda was a powerful experience. Chuck actually sent me the song to listen to, and from the first play I felt something special. The riddim had that energy — that raw, authentic Dancehall vibe that speaks to both confidence and culture. I put my DollyDon magic on the track, added my flavor and delivery, and when he heard it, he loved it. The chemistry was natural. It was our first time collaborating, but it didn’t feel forced — it felt aligned. The rest is history,” she said.
She further explained that inspiration from the track came from owning one’s power and unapologetically embracing what they like and who they are. It’s about confidence, self-expression, and not dimming one’s light for anyone.
DollyDon has also been hearing positive feedback and is encouraged by the love shown by DJs and social media users.
There is a blossoming 2026 ahead for the entertainer.
“This year is all about elevation. I’m working on more collaborations, visuals, and building the DollyDon brand globally. I have new singles in the pipeline, more live performances coming up, and some major moves behind the scenes. I’m also focusing heavily on visuals because I believe presentation is everything. 2026 is about expansion — musically, spiritually, and business-wise. We’re not just dropping songs—we’re building legacy,” she said.
